I was led nike epic react to believe that the Nike Kobe 11 would only ever come out in Flyknit and in a low-cut configuration. Well, one out of two promises ain t so bad, but I also wouldn t be surprised to see a high-cut Kobe 11 in the near future either. If only Nike would have made these Flyknit they would have looked 10 times better. The combination of grey and burgundy is clean but this shoe could have been so much better. Nike dropped the ball on this one. If I m going to pick up a Kobe 11, it s going to be one with a Flyknit upper. I really don t see why Nike even bothered to release pairs made out of engineered mesh. See above. Also, are they really calling this Solar Red? It s interesting that Nike s idea of Solar Red is closer to pink and adidas s closer to orange. Besides the Christmas rush, February is the other big month in the sneaker calendar year.

Love Kyrie, but Dook blows& The colorway is pretty favorable and I like the application of that feather graphic on the midsole. It s a clean-looking sneaker too. Aside from being a fan of black/yellow sneakers, the Kobe A.D. is the pair with the least amount of school branding. I m not a fan of any of these schools, nike kids so the Kobe A.D. is my choice because the Oregon logos are barely visible. Oh yeah and those feather graphics on the midsole are a nice touch. Very clean colorway. A little high maintenance but the gum bottom is dope! I won t be picky. I ll take either multicolor colorway of the Nike Flyknit Racer. I know only the 2.0 released in 2015, but the 1.0 s equally dope. Everybody loves the comfort, look and nike pegasus 36 feel of Flyknit Racers and I wish I could have either pair for Christmas.

We are getting into the Olympic spirit with this edition of Buy, Pass, Wait as several prominent pairs that celebrate the Summer Games are dropping or have already dropped this weekend. There are a few heavy hitters making their way onto shelves, including a new (but really old, actually) colorway of the Air Jordan 7, a love letter to the last time the Olympic were held here in America and the beginning of Nike s Unlimited campaign to coincide with the games. There s levels of uh, iconicnessity (FYI, that s not a real word; just needed to get my point across.) when it comes to sneakers, and the Air Jordan 7 Olympic belongs at or near the top. Because of that colorway s place in history, releasing an Alternate colorway that Michael Jordan may or may not nike sb shoes have rejected initially is a tricky one.

I hate to join the wagon but I d have to go with the Nike Air Foamposite One Hologram (note from EIC Juan: not a hologram ). Nike went through a period where every foam release was disappointing but recent releases of the Foamposite have revived the model and with limited runs the hype is definitely there. I really like the low-top, but this simple two-tone makeup of the Nike Kobe 10 Elite High Opening Night is just a winner for me. I m not into high-tops in general, but this color combo has been the best I ve seen on the silhouette so far. Fans should really consider purchasing a pair. A little over a week ago the whole world was set to crown the Golden State Warriors back to back NBA champions, but the Cleveland Cavaliers managed the improbable comeback and spoiled Steph and Under Armour s plans.

But what about the rest of the weekend s drops, including the Silver Surfer Foams, a new Jordan retro, a remixed AM1 and a new pair for Damian Lillard? Find out in this edition of Buy, Pass, Wait. If Nike wants to keep the retro train moving they need the expand the Ultra into all their legacy models. Keep everything on the outside looking as close to the OG as possible at a reasonable price, but trim all the fat on the inside and make them lightweight and comfortable to wear. Basically, all Ultra everything. Of course, I could make the assumption that the Nike and Jordan Brand are clearing the plate so they won t get smothered by the next adidas Yeezy Boost release (not to mention a handful of NMDs), but we won t got that far. Maybe&

I didn t even bother trying last night with the various draws Nike was putting out because it s crazy that we have so many all-black or almost all-black Air Jordan 12s coming out that it has diluted the style to a certain degree. And I love Air Jordan 12s so for this to be my Pass is unexpected. I haven t nike sneakers for men purchased this style in a while and it s certainly a silhouette that I like a lot. This colorway and construction is just superb. I m just a big fan of the lifestyle/luxe vibe and I m pretty much biased overall. I m pretty sure it s not really Vachetta Tan, but still. This shade of leather looks great on the upper. It s very minimal looking but that s a great look for this low-profile silhouette. The leather laces, the discreet Swoosh branding on the panels and tongue are Image all nice subtle features that shouldn t go unknown.
